For nearly 21 years in the service industry there was one thing that occurred over and over again. What is it you ask? Referrals. My customers would ask " Do you know a good plumber my sink is clogged?" "Do you know a good roofer my roof is leaking?" "Do you know a good tile person I would like to change the look of my bathroom?" You get the picture it happens all the time. The funny thing is they always ask for the best, most qualified, person to do the job at a fair price. I can assure you I have never been asked for the "cheapest roofer in town" or can you refer an "average lawn care company" it just doesn't happen.

  Recently I sat back and pondered the whole "Do you know a good ..........." and wondered why I was considered such a good source to provide these referrals. After reflecting for awhile it dawned on me who else is in such a position to provide a quality referral. After all my customers already know and trust me! They see the quality of our service and trust that I probably know others that can deliver the same quality service or product. They realize I deal with many customers and see a lot of other companies that provide service to homeowners and can recognize who is doing the best work out in the field. Come to think of it when the occasion arises and I need a company for additional work, often I rely on other Business owners and Company reps for the best possible referral.
